I started working for InVue on Monday April 7th, of 2014, from the Dallas, Texas area. The weekend after that was Good Friday but I spent the holiday in the office digesting the orientation materials and familiarizing myself with the projects. Jim came to the office as he usually did on weekends; he came to my cubicle to chat with me. What is your name, where are you from, what is your specialist areas, etc.....

I answered all his questions and then I asked him who you are, and which department are you working with? He started to laugh and told me that he works for nobody. He saw me confused and then told me: I am the owner of the company. What a unique environment to meet the big boss for the first time.

In my 10-year tenure of InVue, I met Jim and his daughter in the Greenway and at company meetings a number of times. He cares for his family, his kids, and his employees. He will be remembered!!!

I will always be grateful for Jim taking a chance on a relatively inexperienced security sales professional from North Idaho. The timing was perfect as Jim had just embarked on the launch of the InVue brand only a couple of months earlier.

It was a great ride through 2015. The time he spent developing his team, the attention to detail and his unwavering focus provides a clear roadmap for success in business and in life. There was no quit in Jim.

Jim´s mentorship during my time at InVue has helped shaped my own journey of entrepreneurship.

My sincerest condolences to the Sankey family and the entire InVue Company during this season of sadness.

Don´t forget to turn in your weekly on time...

Dear Sankey Family,

Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.
I only had the opportunity to meet you once at last year's inVue Global Conference in Germany, when I had the opportunity to have dinner with you. You asked lots of questions, showed interest, made me feel like I was the only one on earth. You were a person with charisma that pours from you and with a lot of presence.
I was glad we got to know each other, even with very little.
My sincere condolences to you and your dear family.

Mexico.

The first time I met Jim was on the phone, he in his office in Charlotte and I in Mexico City when he did my last interview to hire me at InVue. From 2010 to 2019, when I belonged to the InVue family, I had the great opportunity to know and respect him as a leader, boss, and as a person. He left me with a great legacy of teachings in these aspects.
LIDER only convinced with its great security and information, seeking to be the best in everything and always motivating us.
BOSS. Supporting the details to achieve the goals.
PERSON. humility always in every sense.
On a visit to the construction of the new InVue building while he was showing us the place, he ran up the stairs proud and happy to achieve the construction of that goal, he was like a happy child in a new house.
Almost as it began it ended,
The last day I belonged to InVue he sent me a goodbye text message on my phone, a message from a friend not from a CEO.
Always remembered with appreciation and affection and now more.
Please accept my respectful condolences to his entire family.

Jim was a wonderful person. I am grateful for every opportunity I had to interact with Jim and get to know him over the years. I was always struck by his unassuming and genuine nature, a true reflection of Christ´s humility. His sincere love for the Lord and his deep commitment to the children around the world was evident in the way he tirelessly worked and generously shared his resources to create a future filled with hope for thousands. I deeply admired his dedication to his family, his work, and his faith, and I stand in awe of the tremendous legacy he leaves behind. He will always be fondly and gratefully remembered here in India. Our family and ministry stand in many ways indebted to Jim; for coming alongside us, strengthening our hands and encouraging us in the ministry. My heartfelt and sincere condolences to Beth and the family. Will continue to hold them in prayer.

Jim was a great man.

I joined InVue in late 2014 so for almost 10 years I have worked at InVue under Jim´s leadership and within the culture of this great company he created.

Jim was ferociously competitive, entrepreneurial and innovative and with an appetite to lead the company whilst getting involved in the details.

Jim´s leadership taught me to reflect, question what I believed to be barriers, challenge my own opinions and find ways to achieve goals, to re-set and move forwards. to take ownership, hold myself accountable and make things happen.

I have many memories of spending time with Jim in the UK - and some stories too. Jim was a man of absolute integrity and unquestionable honesty and this is all manifest in the culture at InVue. Jim was also a man of brutal honesty and whose brain often worked fast to assess a given situation - I learned how his eyes would indicate that he had digested what he had learned and this was an indication that you had about ten seconds to change his mind if you believed this was necessary.

He will truly be missed but Jim will live on through the stories we will tell and the company we will continue to grow in his memory.

My sincerest condolences to Beth and all Jim´s family and friends.

Dear aunt Beth, Clay, Wes, Brooke and family,

Even though some of us are far away in these difficult moments, our hearts break as we mourn with you the loss of a Great Man that was called to heaven way too soon.
We hold so much love and admiration for Uncle Jim and we were so blessed to be able to call him a Godfather, a devoted friend that was more like family to us than any other.
He made every one feel seen and appreciated. When people needed help he always played his part creating opportunities and a better future for so many.
As the time will pass let our memories of him grow stronger and may the pain be eased by the world of love and kindness that he left behind.

Tomorrow starts without you, dear friend....may you rest in peace as you enter into the Lord´s light.
Our deepest condolences...

So I was saddened to hear about the passing of Jim, I worked for InVue for 9 years, his day to day focus and commitment to InVue was astonishing. He was very involved in every aspect, a trait that you simply do not see in other CEO's.

We had a common interest in cars plus I was always interested to hear his stories about his vacations. He also gave to many different causes, plus other philanthropy that he had been helping people all around the World, people that were less fortunate. My Wife is from the Philippines and he told me how he nearly got kidnapped there whilst again trying to help with an orphanage if I remember correctly.

When I look back on the years I worked at InVue I had a lot of fun and excitement. I loved his constant hunger for innovation, new products every quarter. I love tech innovation too so that was very enjoyable. Jim as a boss was hard but fair, you could always talk to him, he would always find the time to talk to you in person, or call you back or email you back. Even after I left InVue I emailed him and he would always reply.

I send my condolences to his Wife and Children and his extended family, such a great man, and what a legacy he left. RIP Jim.

Jim Sankey compassionately set up life conditions to the thousands of little abandoned children in the Caminul Felix Romania and in Thailand. No discrimination with Jim in any situation he could found - his heart as is his wife´s Beth - poured out living standards of integrety as he loved wholeheartedly.

Our hearts are so moved, as we thank God for a man who led the way to a Christ like life, full of unrestricted generosity.
How we admire Jim, a man of dignity as we see the many vibrant young children, full lives with hope, with future beyond description.
Jim was a man with a parents responsibility world wide - let the children come.

Our condolences to Dear wife Beth, Clay & Amanda, Wes, Brook and grandchildren. You were led into our lives and we testify to your common enormous importance that Jim Sankey brought about.

Beth, Clay, Wes, and Brooke

You don´t know me. I am the owner and president of one of the companies InVue competes with globally.

My first meeting with Jim was around 2005 when he flew up to Chicago to meet with my wife and I regarding a potential job we were going to be involved in together for Lowes Home Centers.

He wanted to get into the display side of retail security, and he was humble enough to tell me that he is more accustomed to buying companies than starting them from scratch. He made it clear that if we wanted to sell to him that we would be his first option. As he left our conference room he made it clear he would be in the display retail security business somehow/someday.

After that meeting, I offered to drive Jim to Midway airport, we sat at Giordano´s and had pizza before I dropped him off. This is when two competitors in a global market became aware of the personal side of each other. He shared with me his journey in his Faith walk. He shared how much it had changed him.

Down the road, Jim and I joked that it took him selling Alpha to get InVue off the ground, and Monika and I started our company with a $25,000.00 home equity line of credit.

Your husband/father taught me a lot over the years by watching what he does in business. I did not get to see the personal side of Jim too much, but over the last 15 + years, we have shared books and Bible verses, prayed for each other and our company´s legal issues that we had with others, and stories about missions that we each are a part of. We talked a little about kids and grandkids.

Here is an email exchange from your husband/father to me back in 2014.

Thanks for reaching out Chris. I too have meant to send a similar email to you.
Your timing is amazing; during my quiet time this morning, some of the scripture I was reading spoke about letting God be more in control of our lives- and the first person who popped in my mind was you. I am honestly humbled by the way you run such a Christ focused business.
I wish you continued success and let´s keep in touch.

From my wife and I and our entire Sennco family, we truly feel for your loss.

Lord Jesus Christ, we lift up the Sankey family and the InVue family in this time that you have welcomed our Brother home. Please wrap your loving arms around all of them so they feel your comfort and love in these days to come.

The most sincere conversations. The way his face lit up showing off his grandchildren. His eye contact . His inclusivity and warm welcoming smile. His love story.

It is with great sadness that I write this message. Our deepest and heart felt condolences to Jim´s beloved wife, children, grandchildren and his extended family. Jim was a great man with a huge heart. I worked at Invue for 6 yrs and he was truly a wonderful CEO to work for. He always took his time to stop by our cubicles to say hi, how are you or just check in to see if we needed anything on a work or personal level when most companies you don´t even know or see the CEO. However, Jim was a different soul, humble, kind and empathetic with everyone. There was no position in between us when it came from Jim, he was one of us. I even considered going back to InVue after all these years because I wouldn´t want to work for anyone else´s but Jim and the Team he created. I know he will be missed from so many across the world including me, in AZ. May you rest in peace Jim. Thank you for everything you did for me and my family in our toughest days. Always in our hearts and prayers The Munoz Family
