James Larkin Saunders Sr.

James Larkin Saunders Sr., age 72, of Joppa, MD, died on April 14, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James Britton and Julia Agnes Kogut Saunders. He worked in Marine Construction as a pile driver. Mr. Saunders is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marie A. Degutis Saunders of Joppa, MD; sons, James L. Saunders Jr. of Joppa, MD, Scott B. Saunders and wife, Debi, and Mark A. Saunders, all of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Michele M. Zinner of Bel Air, MD; sisters, Patricia Horhoe and husband, Charles, of Perry Hall, MD and Victoria Mitchell of Joppa, MD; seven grandchildren; and extended family.
