Age 47, died Feb. 23, 2011 while doing what he loved, flying his plane, which crashed near Connersville, IN. Born March 16, 1963 to Steve and Sara Savor. He is survived by his loving wife Linda and his older brother Steve Savor. Friends and Family are being received Wednesday, March 2 from 4-7 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont, PA.

Steve. I just found out through a friend of the passing of Jim. I'm deeply sorry and can not believe this is true! He was a great person, great friend
& great doctor. I have never found a good doctor since he left VA. My family & I pray for you and wish you the very best. Please let us know if we can do anything for - even though it's been a some time since his passing. We will miss him!

Jim was one of my best friends in college. We pledged the Sigma Nu Fraternity together, and I will always cherish those memories. I was honored to have Jim in my wedding. He lived life to it's fullest, and encouraged those around him to do so as well. He will be greatly missed.
