Diane:
It was so long ago - but it seems like yesterday...I have such fond memories etched into my heart of our friendship so many years ago! When I think of your father - I remember his warm smile, and his love for the horses. And I distinctly remember a couple of occasions when we stopped at the car wash unexpectedly - the pride and pleasure of seeing you was written all over his face!
May your memories soon bring you peace and create a heart-felt smile to grace your face!

Diane, I want to express my deepest sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your Father. May your hearts soon be filled again with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a "LIFE WELL LIVED!" I read your Dad's obituary today and realized that I knew the Schaming family from growing up on Wheaton drive just a street below Meadow Park, I never put two and two together, your dad owned Mr. Majic Carwash and that my father was an aquaintance of your father's, his name was John Slotnik. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Janice, Linda gave me the heartbreaking news and I had to sit down. I'd prayed that Jim would beat it eventually. His spirit and love of life alone, I thought, would beat it. I am sorry I can't be there, but I share your family's grief over his passing. Jim was one of those larger-than-life guys that only come along once in a while. He was a gift while we had him. I call to mind a one of the old musical classics, "It Had To Be You," the line..."With all your faults, I love you still."

My deepest sympathy to Jim's family. He was always a good friend to me, and I really enjoyed driving his horses for him. He will be missed.
