To Jamie's Family,
I am terribly sorry for your loss. You may remember me as Geoff Smith's little sister. I have many memories of Geoff and his friends over the years, but Jamie will always hold a special place in my heart. He treated me like a younger sister, and he was a welcome addition to our home at all times. May you find consolation in knowing that he will remain in the hearts of many (as expressed in this guest book) as long as our journey on earth continues and until we meet again.

Brenda, Joe & Dawn, Janet, Phyllis and your families: This has come as a huge shock. Words can not adequately express my sadness at this news. My heartfelt sympathies to you all. Jamie will live on in our hearts forever! Just last week I was sharing some stories about times with Jamie, my brother Terry, the 240Z, YJ27906, the house on Morrison Street, what perfect teenagers we were ..... It is hard to believe it was more than 30 years ago. As I read through the numerous entries in the guest book, so many of them contain thoughts I say "ditto" to. Thank you for being my friend Jamie - I am a better person because of our friendship. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. From a Headstone in Ireland

What a wonderful man Jamie was! His spirit and laughter will stay with my daughter Alyssa as she continues to walk the halls of WIC. He nicknamed her "Lefty" and shared his sister Janet's special "Seymours" with her...we are deeply saddened by his passing.

I’m so very, very saddened to learn that my Dear Friend and vital link to my past has left our presence. Jamie, you were the brightest and most colorful thread in the fabric of my soul.
My heart is broken but my grief is eased as I reflect on the laughter till I cried, endless days of fun, and love generated by a trusted and faithful friend in simpler times.
God Bless You and Keep You Jamie / With love and condolences to your Family

Our condolences to the Seymour clan on this sad day. Although "Jhames" and I have not seen a lot of each other since the early 80's, I'd like to think I'm carrying a little of his free spirit with me every day. Godspead old friend

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the Seymour family during this sad time. Our friend and "brother" will be truly missed.
Jamie was a founder and stalwart leader of the CO Brethren, and his spirit, sense of fun and warm-hearted friendship are legendary amongst us.
I have had the pleasure of over the past day of reminiscing about 240Z adventures, bonding at the Villa Seymour on Morrison Street, road trips to Kelowna...and the list goes on.
Rest peacefully dear friend and know that your spirit lives on amongst us as you watch over us from afar...

Brenda, Joe, Dawn, Janet, Phyllis and all the rest of the Seymour clan,
This is very unexpected sad news. James was my brother with a different mother for alot of years and a great friend always! The life experiences we had together will be a happy part of my life forever. Even though we had drifted apart these last few years I loved Jamie like a brother…he will be sadly missed. Time is flying by…we all need to try to enjoy life while we have it.

Dear Seymour Family and Friends,
I was very saddend to learn of Jamie's passing.
Jamie was much an originator of our CO fraturnity and although Jamie has been absent for the many years of our male bonding sessions his spirit from "the days" is still regarded as legendary of the glory days.
I have found myself reflecting of happy times this weekend because of Jamie and wish him well in his next lifes adventure.
My kindest regards and sympathy go out to all the Seymour family.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family.
I have many memories of Jamie and enjoyed our times spent together and especially while being roommates in the house on the hill.
I enjoyed his humour, laughter and kind heart and our long, long conversations. I always looked forward to his days off when he would cook "his famous ribs".
I will always and have thought of Jamie while making "his famous ribs".
Jamie you will be missed but never forgotten.

Brenda, Joe & Dawn, Janet, Phyllis and families;
You are all in our thoughts and prayers as you grieve the loss of your little brother. . . You have had too many loses in such short a time. May you find comfort in your memories and from the support and love of those who care.
Somewhere a journey
begins at the end
of the worldly existence
we know,
Somewhere a path stretches
over the stars,
and rivers of memories flow..."
"Somewhere a silence
is heard far away
and the brightness of day
fills the night,
Where the trials of life
are resolved into peace –
when a soul finds its way
to the light."
