James Frank Silvio Sr.

No man has ever had a greater friend than my friend Jimmy Silvio. One of the smartest men i have ever known. I have spent many fine days fishing, hunting and discussing the bible with my very best friend of some 35 years. I miss him and know that he is now with his wife Marie (Pardner)forever.

I served in Korea with Jim, 3rd Bomb Group 90th Bomb Sqd. B-26. We shared some good times together. He will Be Missed. J.R.McBrayer MSGT USAF Retired.

Jimmy has left us all with a perpetual smile on our faces every time we think of him. He is one of those angels God sent to walk among us and make our lives just "That much Better". Thank You Jimmy

I and my family wish to express our deepest sympathies to your family. I had the pleasure of knowing Jimmy and enjoyed his endless words of wisdom, & humor. He always made your day better and always had the betterment of Bossier Parish and BSO in mind. He will be truly missed by all who were touched by his presence.

It was one of the highest honors of my life to have know this man all of my life. I will allways cherish the memory of my Uncle Jimmy.My eternal gratitude for all that I learned from him.

A man of many talents to be sure. I am proud to have served with Jimmy in the USAF. He will be missed by many, and the man above has a great new member there with him.

We didn't have long enough to get to know you but we will always remember you and appreciate the fact that we did! We will keep your memory with us always!

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to James Frank Silvio, Sr. our “Brother-in-Arms”. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Jimmy. And to Jimmy it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during the Korean andVietnam Wars while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Jimmy, we bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at Ease. Rest in Peace.
