James Sipes Obituary
Mr. Sipes was born April 26, 1936, in Mount Enterprise, Texas, to Robert Lee and Ada Brightwell Sipes. He was a machinist with Wright Machine Shop, retiring in 1998. He was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Sipes married Patsy Ann Smith on October 19, 1956, and was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, A. L. Sipes, Effie McComb and Olivia Cooper.
Mr. Sipes is survived by his wife, Patsy Sipes of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky Lee and Jamie Sipes of Longview; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Elaine and Ralph Walters of Kilgore; two sisters and brother-in-law, Ada Mae Waldron and Kathryne and Joe Noll of Longview; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
