I worked for Jim 35 years ago at Western Oceanic. . and will always remember him as the most patient, kind, and funny man who made learning about the offshore drilling business really interesting. And he also gave me unending grief about marrying a Petroleum Engineering Aggie! My heartfelt condolences.

I first met Jim on the Delta barge in Nigeria. That was way back in 1964 or 65. He was sent over from Houston to do a wave period study. I remember spending many hours with him counting and timing the waves. My thoughts are with Jim's family.

Jim was great person to work with and had a willingness to share his knowledge and teach you anything you were willing to learn from him. He is one of my favorite Engineering mentors. Granted if you were not careful he would have you laughing for hours. He will be greatly missed!

Mr. Sisk will be missed. He was so full of life and such a great guy. He seemed to genuinely get a kick out of Melinda and me when we were kids and doing just the dumbest things....he always had a smile and a some helpful words to suggest how we might want to try what we were doing a little differently. Many great memories from my childhood are with Mr.Sisk. Hugs to Melinda, James, Derek and Mrs. Sisk. We are so sorry for your loss.

Ann & Family,
Our condolences to the family. I was a colleague of Jim at The Offshore Company & Western Oceanic, as he was my supervisor, who managed projects with his meticulous planning. Jim always had an answer for everything related to work. He aided me in making the decision to retire & helped me locate jobs when I was in between jobs/projects. Ciao, Me Amigo
