I had the pleasure of meeting Jim when he attended some training schools at Westfield Insurance Co. in the mid-80's (I was his instructor). He was a bit older than most in the class because it was a basic training school with many young people right out of college. He fit in just fine. I developed an immediate fondness for this kind and considerate man and when our paths would cross at a Westfield event in subsequent years, it was always a great pleasure to see him.

I'm sorry to learn of his death and wish to express my sincere sympathies to remaining family. No one knows better than his family just how special a person he was. I'm grateful that I knew him.
