Dear Joy & family-Our family spent a lot of time with yours in the 50's 60's and 70's. Mom and your mom went on vacation after dad died. I haven't seen Jim in a long time, but would see Earl and wife once in awhile. Our sympathy goes out to you and your family. Sandy Gjerde wersal

I will miss your kindness you had always shown me. You gave me my first Semi ride when I was real young. That was a big deal for me then. I also remember the time that I happen to be driving beside you on highway 169 near Mankato. A case of being in the right place at the right time. I will miss you uncle Jim. Glad to have known you. Rest in peace.

My thoughts are with you Dave, and your family. I'll loved your dad dearly, he was a caring soul and so much fun to be around. May you find solace in the knowledge that he is at peace now and there is no more suffering. He is probably telling "trucker jokes" right now in heaven. Rest in peace Jim...

Oh Papa,if you only knew how much your failing health hurt Bunnie and myself......but I guess as hard as it was to accept.....it was more difficult for us to actually "deal" with.
You were there for us when we needed you,so ,we feel sooo, bad that we can't come to see you off....but we 'Know" YOU would understand.....since the circumstances surrounding our own mom, were sooo hard for us...(and still are),it is like losing another member near and dear to us,and one that has gone to a better place....and once again...we are left to mourn..........
We know you are in no pain now....and you will always remain DEEP in our hearts, but you will also be the large towering man, with the cigar....a wild sense of humor, and a heart as big as the Grand Canyon....Mom Loves you to pieces and we do too...You will be met at heaven's gate,by a hell of a croud...so save a seat for those you know will be there beside you.....(as for me...you know I always did...... prefer it where it's warm.,and I will get a 6 foot head start...so... I will save a seat for the rest !!!!)Love you ALWAYS....Sheila,and Bunnie.....God Bless You....and..."Try" to behave yerself!!!.,....P.S....Drop in once in a while...and let us know yer here......
