Our thoughts and prayers are with you!
Charles aka PeeWee Thomas
February 20, 2008
Crissy...this is Peewee Thomas from Fla. I am your Uncle Sherman and Aunt Pauline Seabolt Jarrett great nephew. We all moved to the Orlando area of Fla around 1957-58. My parents were Ernest and Thelma Thomas. Sherman was my Dad's uncle, his Mom was Sherman's sister. I bought my grandparents Thomas old house at Falls Mills about 17yrs ago. Your Dad and Mom use to go with me to the Mon Tazwell market. I became close to them and kinda lost touch when your mom had to go to the Nursing Homes. I loved your parents very much and remember many good talks at their mobile home and they would come up to Falls Mills. The last time I saw you was right before you moved to Charleston...anyway your mom use to make the best sandwiches for me and your dad always had the coldest beer. I loved all his violins. I just retired from teaching elem school last year and go to Falls Mills during the summer and fall. Thanks to your parents they showed me many places around Bluefield. Write sometime. I am Barbara, Diane's, Debbie's cousin. We all saw your Dad about 4 yrs ago at Heritage Hall. They all send you condolances.

Dear Spurgeon Family,
My sympathy for you during this time.
My dad and mom, Darcie Ray Eagle, 1915-2001, Hettie Marie SHRADER Eagle, 1918-2005 were best friends with Cecil and Lillian.
They played thousands of hands of Rook together over many years.
Sincerely Karen EAGLE Moman
