I am very honored and privileged to have known Jim Starkey. He was my father in law for almost 15 years. He was a larger than life person with such knowledge and commitment to anything he pursued. He taught me to be strong yet loving. He was one of the most incredible amazing people I have ever or probably will ever meet.He was a tough man with a rough exterior but a caring husband and father and grandfather who I believe taught everyone around him how to be a better person through hard work and perseverance.. I was sad to hear of his passing and honestly cant get over it. Always thought he would just say no im not ready ill go when I want, when it was his time to say goodbye. Ill miss the nights of endless card playing with the family, vacations and just always feeling safe and secure being in his presence. So much love to his wife Shirley and all of his amazing family.. He will always live in my heart as im sure goes for anyone he ever met. RIP.. Jenn
