Coach Steward coached me in the 1960's in Denison. He showed so many of us a great example of what we could be as a man. I am grateful to him, and honor his life.

We are saddened to hear of James' death. He was not only a talented athlete on the field, but also a great sportsman in the game of life. Harriet, you and your children will always have wonderful memories of the kind, special person James has always been and we are blessed to have shared some of those memories with you. We pray that you and your family feel the love of friends and family gathered around you.
