I still think about Jim. I just lost my wife in April after 25 yrs. I know how hard it is. Jim knew my father, who died at 55, who was also a well respected man. Together, they were the brightest light in my life. Still are.

It's hard to believe that 11 years have gone by which proves how a person that has been in your life no matter how short or long the time, is always remembered. Although I only briefly worked with Jim from time to time over a period of years, I could see how funny, outgoing, and good natured he was. I am glad to have known him.

I only met Jim and Nita a few times. I married Barbara's daughter Toni in Brandon, met them then and then when we visited. My heart goes out to Nita and the whole family at this time. From the few times that I was around him, I could tell he was a special person.

Jim and I were about as close as a couple of crazy guys could get back when. Always the truest of friends. I hate that its taken me this long to find out. A loss I won't soon get over. But my memories of him will last forever. My prayers are with you Nita.

I will never forget Jimmy! He was such a great friend to everyone. I remember many Friday nights at the Garcia's and all the tricks Jimmy and I would play on everyone. he always had a great laugh and was always smiling. Although I had not seen him in a while it is nice to see that he never changed and was loved by all. Nita, I am praying for you and the kids. I am sorry for your loss.

I'm a regular at Anderson Road Cafe, talking with the waitresses, I heard about Jimmy this week. On many occasions; our paths would cross, he would be in for an early lunch and I for a late breakfast. At the bar, we would make small talk, primarily about Sports(The Tampa Teams,Gators,St. Louis Cardinals and Golf). In those many short occasions, I knew this guy was special!
My condolences to his Family and Friends...

My Uncle Jim was the total package. A great husband, father, grandfather, Uncle, and Friend. I will miss you dearly and vow to keep our family reunion tradition alive as long as I am. I find it hard typing these words. I always looked forward to summers in Brandon. Bugging you to go to Sports Authority, shoot hoops, football, you name it. You always took the time out for each of us. The most unselfish human I've ever known. It goes from then to just a few weeks ago sipping some beers (coors of course) and enjoying family. If I could sum you up in 1 word, it would be family. You'll never be forgotten! We will love you always brother! And to my Aunt, cousins, family, we are here for you all. I love you all! I hope to see you all very soon to share stories and celebrate his life. Love you Uncle Jim, always will!

We all lost a great man, husband, father, grand father, brother and friend. JT was a man you would give you everything, did anything for you but never expected anything in return. "JT In The House" Will ring out at every poker game, every golf game, every horseshoe match, and every gathering we had loved to spend with him. I was so glad he was a part of my life, and what I learned from him. If I can be half that man that JT was, it would make me a better man. My thoughts and prayers are with Bug and the family. The light he brought into a room when he walked in will always live on with all of us. Miss you and always love you JT. cus

A true friend was lost to all of us. JT was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, and to me a friend. He will never be forgotten, and "JT In The House" will ring out at every Poker Game, Every golf game, Every Horseshoe match, and every gathering I loved to spend with him. He was a friend that would always give and do anything for you and never expected anything in return. A true friend, and if I could be half of a person what JT was, and the way he upheld his self, and the way he taught me how to live and love life, it would make me a better man, and I thank you. My thoughts and prayers are with Bug and the kids, and know my hurt is no level of yours, we all loved him and are here to heal with you. That glow he had when he came in a room will live on.
Miss you and love you JT!
