Jim was a warm, loving man. He was quick with a kind or supportive word and his integrity was notable. He will be missed.

Jimmy was the epitome of the officer and the gentleman. His varied interest made him a delightful part of any event. He was a devoted, father, husband and grandfather. He will be sorely missed by all who loved and adored this wonderful man. We have lost a true soilder in every sense of the word. It was men of his calibre that made World War II tru;ly our "Greatest Generation." Standing beside and supporting him through his life was and will always be his "soul mate," his wife, Charlotte. We will all miss Jimmy and though he is gone he will never be forgotten. Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with his family, in this, their time of deepest need. May God hold you in the palm of his hand and give you the strength and guidance you need to carry on. Shelvie Belser-Tarramt and family, Columbia, SC
