I was not born into your family, but the past 10 years I have had the great honor of calling it mine, and that is why I can say that I loved and cared for Randel. We will all miss him terribly, but yet we also look forward to that day when we will see him again and we can join together as one big family. There's nothing like a Toone Family gathering, and I know that will be the greatest one by far.

Randy and Kontraina, I want you to know that my prayers are with you each and every day, and know that you raised a wonderful son and a great man.

Randel was my first cousin. The thing I'll never forget was that crooked little smile he'd give when I walked up to shake his hand or hug his neck. Randel was one of the nicest and most loving people you will ever meet. I'll never forget him, and a very important piece of our family is missing now. Randel was an all around great person with great parents. My hope is that everyone will continue to pray for them and lift them up.

Randy and Kontraina,

We just wanted you to know we love both of you and Rachel. Our hearts are so heavy knowing the hurt you are going through.

I wish I had just the right words that could bring the most comfort for you, but I know that God is the only one who can really carry you through this. Still we want you to know you have all your family and many friends praying for you. As the very familiar poem goes (Footprints in the Sand), I pray for you daily many times that God will just lift you up and hold you at this time. I pray you can feel his presence as never before and that He'll give you strength to go on.

Randel was our nephew and precious to us. Randel was a very loving and caring young man with a heart of gold. Randy, you and Kontraina are the ones who helped him to be the young man he was. You loved him, brought him up in church, and taught him about Jesus. You did really well. Randel was loved and I believe he knew that.

I think of the times when he and Selena were just babies crawling around and one would stop to see if the other was still after them. They were so cute. I remember the year he was 1 or 2, I'm not sure, but I made him all those little outfits to wear.

Yes, he's missed for sure, but the most wonderful part is someday we'll all be together again. Maybe, just taking a "Stroll Over Heaven" or just sitting together again around God's throne and Randy as you have sang so many times before, "This is Just what Heaven Means to Me."

We love you,

Selena Suggs Rikard

Randel is not only my first cousin, he is a great friend. Ron and I would have Randel go EVERYWHERE with us. Now just going out to eat on any regular night doesn't seem the same. Randel touched our lives in more ways than we could ever tell. The only peace we can feel in our hearts is knowing that Randel is in heaven now and heaven is much sweeter with him there. He will always hold a special place in my heart and I will never forget all our memories we had together. Anyone reading this, please keep the family and friends uplifted in your prayers. God Bless.

The sorrow, and the pain

Almost to much loss to bear.

So in the ground our loved ones are lain,

Will you cry, Will you care?

The reality hits like a dart,

When we find the Lord has taken someone away.

It always hits hard on the heart,

But we won't cry now, we'll wait another day.

You may forget in a time

The way that person was.

The way they walked,

The way they talked,

But it is certain that the impression that person made,

Will never ever fade.

-Anonymous

Yet love that all thing doth subdue,

Whose power there may be life eschew,

Hath wrought in me that I may rue

These miracles to be so true

That are impossible

Earline I did not realize that this was your grandson, every one has been and is in my prayers. Words are beyond my comprehension of how each of you feel, but I know that God is right there with you, I pray for strength and confort that only God can bring. It only seems like yesterday that I was in church with you all on 11th St. NW. I loved attending the services and last night I was reminded while reading the words of Jesus, of the first foot washing I had ever taken part in. Dear Randy, Kontrina, and Rachel,

I just wanted to once again express my sorrow for what your family is having to go through. I pray that God's love will help you through your pain. I didn't really know Randall but the smile that he gave to his sister in the afternoons when he picked her up from school said a lot about him. In God's Love Jeanne Dukeminier

I am so sorry for your loss. I first met Randall in the fifth grade at East Lawrence Elementary school where we became good friends. Over the years we didn't talk as much, but I was still always fond of him, and I will always remember him as friendly and outgoing and a person who we all cared for deeply. I'll miss you! ELHS class of 1999.

Words can never express how it feels to lose a friend like Randel. I met him when we were in fifth grade, and we became the best of friends. Randel was more than a friend to me, he was the brother i never had. You couldnt have asked for a better person, you could always count on Randel. He was always there for me no matter what the problem was, and i can only hope that i was as good a friend as he was to me. My only regret is that i never got to tell him goodbye. My prayers are with the family, I love you all. As for my friend Randel, We will meet again!!

Randel was my first cousin. I knew him his whole life and I can say he was always a pleasure to be around. He knew how to cut up and have fun. Whatever everyone wanted to do, whatever games, activities, just whatever, you could always count him in. Whatever you needed him for, whether it was to go out and have fun or if there was some work needing to be done you could call him and he would be there. We are all going to miss him and if anyone is reading this that never got the chance to know him I can just say that I feel sorry for you. Because you most likely would have loved him just as much as all of us do.
