James was one of the nicest people you could ever meet!
Always a smile and always ready to have a nice conversation. He taught Jim all he knows about baseball!
A great loss for the family, but, remember all the good things he has done here on earth!

Jim was a great friend. We coached several teams together, although his style was slightly more aggressive than mine lol. Went to dozens of Cards games together including the 85 series in KC, and numerous trips to Wrigley with his son Jimmy. Jim taught me how to bet the horses at age 21. I love the whole Traube family and grew up being around them every chance I could. So until we meet again amigo, and fellow McBride Mick. You had a great and full life, you will be missed...God Bless You and Rest in Peace. The Lord is your Shepherd.

My thoughts an prayers to the family. RIP coach. It was a blast knowing and playing for you at St Williams. It is amazing all the time you spent coaching us in baseball, soccer and basketball. You taught us a lot.
