What a wonderful essay on James' life. Though I did not know him personally, through working with his daughter Melanie I know the legacy he leaves behind. Melanie is always smiling, treats everyone with respect, goes out of her way to help others, is funny, and will always make time for you. No doubt, these are traits James passed on to Melanie. So even though I may not have brewed some 'Jo with James, it sure feels like Melanie showed me what it would have been like. I will go to Mass tomorrow and pray specifically for James, that Our Lord receives him with open arms and also pray his entire family is consoled by our dear Blessed Mother.
