James E. Turner, 69 of Sacramento, passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 19, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eve and Eileen Turner and his Loving wife of 25 years Marcy C. Turner.

He is survived by his Cherished daughter Kristi (Kevin) Gilbert of Sacramento, CA, Beloved grandson Cody Peters of Sacramento, CA, Sister Bobbie Simpson of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Brother Larry (Kari) Turner of Austin, TX, along with several nieces and nephews and a wonderfully large number of extended family and friends. Jim worked for the Office of the Regional Solicitor as the Assistant Regional Solicitor for the U.S. Department of the Interior for 35 years before he retired in 2011.

Family and Friends are welcome to join his, Celebration of Life on March 30, 2018 at 12:00 pm, at Lombard Funeral Home, 1550 Fulton Ave, Sacramento, CA. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
