I was at Quantico with Jim for three months in 1978 (FBI National Academy.) I never met a nicer man in my life. “J. J.” as we called him, enjoyed life. While I’m saddened by his passing, my life is enriched by his memory!

Lieutenant Twitty was my first watch commander when I came on the job and over the years I continually learned from him even after he retired.
So many good memories of both Jim and Susan.

Jim was my first training officer, and remained a good friend and fishing buddy for years after. Always smiling, always genuine, that's how I'll remember him.
