I worked at the state house with Jimmy for 40 years and just heard of his passing today. A wonderful guy who was known for his many kindnesses, he will be missed.

A childhood friend of mine. I have the fondest of memories of you. Rest In Peace Jimmy.

Jim Twomey was a very dear friend!! I was fortunate to be a staff person in the House and Senate and elected to succeed my dad, Ed, in the House.
Jimmy was the very best, reaching out to help me and anyone else, fabulous and delightful gentleman, I miss him already!!!!

I came to know Jim when I was first elected to serve in the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 1969. Our acquaintance continued even after I moved to the Senate. He was regarded as very professional and devoted to his work. His family can be justly proud of him. Please accept my sincere condolences.
