James UNIACKE Obituary
1942 - 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Uniacke on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. He will be deeply missed by his five children; Debbie (Dylan), Penny, Tara (Mark), Jim (Holly) and Christine (Dominic). He was the beloved Gramps of Emily, Gillian, Mackenzie, Molly, Sydney, Jackson, and Zachary. He also leaves behind his sister Lynda, brother Nick, and longtime companion Marilyn. The Funeral will take place at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White this Sunday, June 8, 2014. Visitation from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., followed by the Service at 4:30 p.m. The family wishes to give thanks to the staff and nurses of the St Joseph Palliative Care unit in Lachine. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are greatly appreciated.

I was very sorry to hear about Jim. I enjoyed many wonderful times playing bridge with Jim and Marilyn on my weekend visits from Toronto to see our mutual friend, Susan. I will miss him at the bridge table.

We are so sorry...One of the hardest times in our lives is letting go of our parents. We think of the loss as losing him forever, but his life has touch you all in so many different ways.
