I remember Jim from a very young age when he lived in Park Hill. He was my first cousin and mentor from our early times in the early 50's on. I always admired his Colorado Mountain Club dedication, his thirst for knowledge, his genuine care for others and his willingness to help them in any way he could, and his dedication to the practice of law and participation in so many state, local and national bar association activities. He was a great and greatly admired attorney and judge. Jim, I miss you and the family holiday gatherings we had for years and years. Cousin Ed

Katie, Sarah and family! I am so sorry to hear about your father's passing. He was a kind and wonderful man that I enjoyed working with for many years! May he rest on peace!

Jim: I am so glad we had an opportunity to renew our mutual interests in 2022 at your offices, at which time you and I shared our personal experiences with strokes. I hope you found the Harvard Health publication on that subject that I left with you that day of interest and helpful. It has been a pleasure knowing you all these many years as a fellow T&E practitioner and member of ACTEC. May you rest in peace.

I knew Jim through his 'sweetie,' Susan King. She called him smart, kind and "wonderful"! Their relationship also gave her a new least on life!

Jim and I got acquainted in the Colorado Mountain Club, where we were members of the Board of the Club´s Foundation. We soon discovered a mutual interest in birds, theatre, and movies and began enjoying outings together. When my grandfather, Clarence Daly, died, as the eldest surviving male heir, I assumed responsibility for managing his estate. With Jim´s sound advice we were able to reorganize a diverse set of investments and assets into trust accounts, which eventually dispersed to family members. Even after Jim moved to Cape Cod, he returned to Denver regularly, and a phone call I always looked forward to was his announcement, "Hey, Mike, I´m in town again, where are we going birding?"
