I am very sadden to hear his departure. Jimmy means so much to me. Without his interviews and encouragements, my dissertation would never have been completed. I miss you a lot, Jimmy!

I would simply wish to express my respects and admiration for the lives of men (and women) like James Wakefield who survived the Japanese occupation of the Far East, and returned to contribute to the success of post-war Hong Kong.
