We were once requested to send a "Vintage Technician" to a customer location as the customer and her telephone equipment were very old. She was frustrated because none of the other younger techs could fix the troubles. Jimmy, being the oldest tech in repair, was dispatched, and fixed her troubles and made her a friend for life. Typical Jimmy--great co-worker, great friend, and thereafter known as the "Vintage Technician"
