Lisa, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. It was always a pleasure to speak to him back in the 70's.

He was my girlfriend's dad and I was kinda scared of him, but then he turned out to be a really nice guy. God bless him and all his loved ones.

My sympathy to Diane, Lisa, Jay & family. Our families shared & grew up in Park Ridge East of Bloomington, Indiana. Lisa & Jay were at Bloomington North high school around the very same time with
my sister Julie & I , as well. My father/ Larry worked with and shared Jim's passion for education at IU. Not long ago, prior to he & Diane leaving their home, I saw/stopped by & saw Jim, Diane, & Lisa. His smile & gardening hat were the 1st thing I noticed when I walked up their driveway. We shared a few memories of the neighborhood & how our families were doing at that time. My heart goes out to his family & trust his many memories will live on forever. Take care. Jeff Campbell

Grandpa Jim, as I write this, memories come flooding in. It´s hard to pick just one to write about... trips to Florida, 4th of July fireworks, Christmases under the big tree and of course, our magical shell picking endeavors. All of these times meant so much to me.

You were such an intelligent, thoughtful and interesting man. You always introduced me to new ideas, or "old" ideas, whatever the case was.

I love you. I miss you. I am so grateful you were a part of my life. You became the Grandpa to 3 grandchildren, and I believe I speak for all of us when I say "I couldn´t have asked for a more amazing grandfather". I thank God, and my wonderful Grandma Diane Williams, for picking you to be my Grandpa.
