James Williams Obituary
Mr. Williams is survived by his sons, James Paul and wife Pat of Norman, Okla., Robert Elton and wife Tanna of Jacksonville, Tommy Clyde of Rusk; daughter, Teresa and husband Bill Knous of Dallas; sister, Ann Marie Kubicek of Frisco; aunt, Ruby Bray of Humble; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernice Williams of Rusk; children, Debbie Crippen, Ricky Williams and Terry Williams; brothers, Elray, Johnnie, Jerry and Claris Williams; and sister, Faustine Talley.
Mr. Williams served in World War II and the Korean War. He served on the Calbildo, the USS Baxter, the USS Eldon and on many landing craft tanks.
A memorial will be held in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Rusk.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and American Cancer Associations.
