James Wayne Wright, Jr., Kansas City, MO, passed from this life on November 7. 2024. Jim was born on November 8, 1964, in Kansas City, MO to James and Patsy (Hoover) Wright, Sr. Jim was a 1983 graduate of Park Hill High School where he excelled as a musician and a wrestler. After high school Jim went on to a career in electrical motors serving long tenures with local companies Western Extralite and IBT, Inc. Jim loved cooking, especially barbeque, KU basketball, and playing chess with his son.

Jim is survived by his son, Robert Charles Wright of Kansas City, MO. A sister, Deb (Doyle) Hostetler, Pleasant Dale, NE; brother Steven Wright; a very dear Uncle Gary and Aunt Sherri Hoover of Horseshoe Bend, AR. Cousins Dr. Dawn Hoover (Mark Michelswirth); Nicole (Zach) Huggins and Scott Hoover along with several nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life will held at a later date.
