I recently learned of Austin's passing from the USCG/NOAA retirement newsletter and would like to extend my condolences and deepest sympathy. I served under Austin for several years while in the NOAA Corps and he was, without a doubt, one of the finest gentlemen and officer I have ever met. I will always remember him fondly and with great admiration.

Sincerely Dick Muller, Capt. NOAA ret

I met Austin early in my career in the Corps when I was assigned to the PEIRCE as his Executive Officer. He was one of the finest officers I had the pleasure to work for. I wish to share my condolences to his family and friends.

Austin was the first person we met when we came to Florida and he and BT were our my best friends ever since. He was always there when we needed him..and that was frequent. We became good golf buddies, card buddies and lunch buddies! He was a wonderful and pleasant man. We admired him for his intelligence and integrity. Truly a man who was loved and respected by all at Eagle Marsh!

Austin we will miss you!

Paula and Amanda sad to hear this news. Many happy childhood memories of our families sharing meals, vacations/camping, pig roasts etc. I remember your dad as soft spoken and kind. Best to you both.
