James R. Ziebart, age 86, of Minneapolis died Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2023 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Todd Nelsen will officiate. The service will be webcast on the funeral home website.
James Roy Ziebart was born March 1, 1937 to Edgar and Martha (Jerke) Ziebart. He grew up in Fredonia, ND along with his ten siblings. Jim served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a farmer and as a punch press operator for Honeywell. Jim enjoyed crossword puzzles, going for walks, and farming.
He is survived by his daughter, Bernie (Levi) Konsor of Kimball; grandchildren, Patrick (Brianna) Larson of Forest City and Richard Larson (Krystle Geislinger) of Watkins; great-grandchildren, Madyson, Kylie and Willamina Larson, and Kallie Jorgenson; sisters, Betty Ann Dudek and Norma Collins; brothers, Robert (Betty) Ziebart, Delmar (Dao Wei) Ziebart, and Gerald Ziebart; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Martha Ziebart; son, Owen Lee Ziebart; brothers, Paul, Larry and Donald Ziebart; and sisters, Joyce Haag and Julie Mason.
The Maple Lake American Legion and VFW Honor Guard, and the Army National Guard Honor Guard will provide military honors for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
