I did not get the opportunity to meet you, but I would like to say that your sister Tasha is my niece-in-law and I know that she and your family is hurting due to the loss of you. Sisters have a special bond that cannot be broken even in death, in your name, God will comfort her and your family along with friends and neighbors. Sleep well young princess until we all meet again. God speed.

Jamila was a sweet person. Although I did not work directly with her at UNC Health, my interactions with her when she worked in ISD were always pleasant and met with a smile. Praying for peace and comfort for her family, friends, and peers.

Sending my heartfelt condolences during this time to Jamila's children and family. She had the sweetest spirit and desire to help anyone. Here is a picture of my bridal shower where she was my interim manager at UNC. She will be truely missed.
