I was saddened to hear of Jan's passing, I was his coach and he was my friend. My first thoughts were of that giant smile, yelling at him to stop goofing around in the huddle, driving the boys around for senior prom, bringing Jan Jr his first football in the hospital and helping he and Andrea refinance their first home. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends... We loved you Jan

I met this brother 35+ years ago. I was a very young football player and he looked out for me like a big brother. He was good folks. Condolences to his family.

I remember Jan from pop Warner and playing football and basketball with my son at Clark High School. He was very respectful and had an infectious smile. He was a great with his children. He will truly be missed. Sending my prayers and heartfelt sympathy to his family.
