Jan J. Mauritz

Jan and I were not closer friends, but knew each other for over 30 years as fellow attorneys here in Pierce County. Jan was a well respected member of our profession who was well known for his honor, respect, good will and hard work. He'll be missed. I wish peace to his family.

I worked with Jan in the late 1970s and thoroughly enjoyed his stories and his humor. I am saddened by his passing.

I met Jan many years ago when he was working for Allstate. We remained in touch as legal colleagues. I was happy to mediate a couple of his legal cases. Jan was an intelligent, kind, friendly man and will be missed. Patrick Duffy Jr

We are so sorry to hear of Jan’s passing. We have wonderful memories of meeting him and having dinner with you both at a lovely restaurant on the water. He warmly welcomed us as family and we loved sharing stories. Joe and I realized that Jan was a remarkable man.
