I just found out today about this! I worked with Jan in 1988 and 1989 when I lived at the Putnam. I have thought of her many times over the years. I send my heart felt sympathy to her family. May you rest in peace Jan and always be young. Naomi

Jan was my first friend when I moved to Deland - She was the sunshine in everyone eyes that met her. She was a very special person and anyone that knows her knew that. I am going to miss her very much but God wants his angel now.

I'm so sorry to hear about Jan. Though we lost contact over the years she will always hold a special place in my heart. I know she loved music and dance. While in school we were in the same jazz class. We laughed and just carried on. She was a lovely girl and I will always remember Jan.
