Jana Spottswood Milham

Jana Sue Spottswood Milham, beloved daughter and sister entered her heavenly home unexpectedly on August 27, 2025. Jana was born December 7, 1949 in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was the second of three daughters to the late Margaret and Carl Spottswood. Jana grew up in Broken Bow, Oklahoma where she made many lifelong friends. She graduated from Broken Bow High School and was a talented Band Drum Major. Jana was proud of her Oklahoma origins all her life. Jana was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma in Norman and displayed her love and loyalty for her Alma mater with her license plate, phone case and even her recliner cover. Go Sooners!

Jana was an artist and very talented in oil painting, crochet and knitting. Jana won 3rd place at The State Fair of Texas for her crocheted afghan. Jana also published two books. She loved traveling to New Mexico and Colorado. She was an avid collector of Southwest art and jewelry.

A celebration of Jana's life will be held at a later date. Her memory will be forever treasured in the hearts of her family and friends.
