I remember as a child, Aunt Jane's fondness for desserts. She would try them all, but only a bite or two. She helped me learn to want to experience all that life had to offer.
As a teenager, Aunt Jane gave me a gift of a pen set. It was from her that I learned that I like to write. A very helpful skill in my current profession.
As a young mother, Aunt Jane gave my children hand-knit sweaters, showing me that the gifts made by hand, with love and patience, and from the heart, are the best kind. Slome of them were passed down to my grandchildren!
Aunt Jane, even when we didn't see her as often, has always been a constant source of love, learning, and kindness in our lives. I will miss her.
