Jane supported, inspired and understood clearly what craftspersons were building toward. Seeing Jane walking toward ones booth was knowing that you had produced work which spoke to a very knowledgable mind. Speaking with Jane about line, shape and technique was having a beer with an equal. Jane's departure makes it a bit harder to go to the shop

Jane moved through life with grace, poise and dignity. She inspired us all at the Morris Arb. to expand its profile as a great public garden.

Jane inspired, supported and most importantly, taught me something new with every wonderful moment spent in her presence. My deepest sympathy to the family. One less bright light shines on Philadelphia.
