Incredible Background! Incredible Family!
We've only met Jane once or twice and didn't realize what a wonderful and accomplished person she was. We're so sorry we didn't get to know her better.
Dave, Jayman,
Best to you in your sorrow.

I met Jane five years ago. She was a caring and considerate friend. She could converse on the complex and the mundane with interest,
and with respectful discernment. Her eyes said clearly what she was too polite to speak out loud.
She enjoyed her modest garden, moss covered yard and field of ferns.
She was tender in the moment and brave in the face of her fate.
I will miss her, and take a lesson from these qualities that she possessed.
The photo is of one of her flower pots bursting with a delicate beauty that was like her beautiful spirit.

I cherish my memories visiting David, Jane, Jay, and sometimes John or Gregg in Amherst, especially Thanksgiving. Jane quietly supported me when I decided to go to nursing school, showing curiosity but never overwhelming me with too many questions - I can imagine she was an incredible teacher of nurses. She always showed her curiosity and caring, whether to family or new people - being a great listener and understated questioner. Her eyes twinkled, and then she would give her beautiful crooked smile and natural low-laugh that showed she delighted easily in the antics and joys of others (or had a dry opinion she was reserving, which made me laugh and kept my gossip going!). I hadn't seen Jane in a long time so I've been surprised at how her passing has hit me. I felt we had a special connection and she will continue to inspire me with her example as a mom. All of my love to David and family, all generations. She is within you and I look forward to seeing you soon. Love, Phoebe

I wish to join in the celebration of this amazing woman. Jane was a friend and tireless supporter of the theater troupe, the Rainbow Players, Jay´s acting troupe and our nonprofit, Empowerment Through The Arts. Along with Jay, she sat on our nonprofit board in our initial years, helping to guide us. She saw how the arts equalizes and she supported this program that lifts up all, regardless of ability. Jane is sorely missed. And I celebrate the days that we had together over about 15 years. Thank you, Jane, for your fearless life and your courage to push boundaries for all people who live with labels of disability. You are in spirit now. I am grateful you chose to lend some of your precious time on earth with us. Sending love to all of the family and especially to Jay, our friend and theater troupe member.
