Jane Christman McGlynn

McGlynn Jane Christman McGlynn, 62, of Edina, MN, passed away November 28, 2004. Preceded in death by her husband, Michael; daughter, April; parents, Edwin & Esther Christman; brother, Stanley. Jane is survived by one daughter, Robin (Rod) Sande; grandsons, Cooper and Spencer Sande; son, Steve (Rita); twin brother, James (Donna); sister, Mary Ann (Richard) Phelps; along with nieces, aunts and uncles. Jane grew up in Napoleon, ND and graduated from Napoleon High School. She attended North Dakota State University and later moved to Minneapolis. Jane worked in the patient accounts department for various medical practices in Minneapolis for 41 years, retiring in May, 2003. Jane was a member of the Woodlake Lutheran Church in Richfield. For many years, she was a member of a bowling league, enjoyed reading, valued time with her grandsons, and liked to travel which included trips throughout the U.S. along with a trip to Russia in 1987. The family would like to give special thanks to Teri Drimel, Fairview Home Care and Hospice, Dr. Steven Rousey, Gary and the staff at MOHPA, Dr. Paul Fadden and staff and Dr. Mary Tanghe for all of the caring and compassion given to Jane. A celebration of Jane's life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004 at 11 AM, visitation 10 AM at Woodlake Lutheran Church, 7525 Oliver Avenue S., Richfield, MN, 612-866-8449.
