Jane Preiss Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 27, 2025.
Milwaukee - October 3, 1941 - January 26, 2025

After a long hard battle with Interstitial Lung Disease, Jane Preiss passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 83. She was a devoted and loving wife to James Preiss for 61 years. Mother of April (Terry) Schultz, and Amy (Ronald) Fenner and loving Grandma to her 5 beautiful grandchildren that she truly adored, Molly Schultz, Anthony Fenner, Madeline Schultz, Matthew Schultz, and Margaret Fenner. Daughter of the late Anton and Ruth Berlinski, sister to Jack Berlinski, and the late Peggy Clarkson.

Jane was a retiree from Delco Electronics - Milwaukee. Anyone who knew her knows her love for the Packers was contagious and her sparkly personality always lit up a room! She loved to cook, bake, drink, and dance with the love of her life Jim. And most of all spending time making people smile.

It is impossible to sum up her life in a few words, but Jane carried love and generosity for whoever she encountered. Her memory will provide tremendous comfort to her family.

Simply the Best!

The family will celebrate her life at a private memorial.

So sorry to read of Jane's death, and surely she's looking down at her family, who although will always miss her, will be glad she's finally out of pain. I knew Jane through Delco. Rest in peace Jane.

We knew of each other at Delco, but didn't become closer until we connected on FB. We chatted everyday. I sorely miss those chats with her already. She was a part of my morning everyday. May she rest in peace and my condolences and sympathies to Jim and her family~
