Mrs Rook ruined me for working for anyone else. She was the most wonderful generous employer and Beverston Castle was a magical place to live. She was also one of the most interesting people I've ever met. She spoke four languages fluently and was a great supporter of the armed forces. It's the end of an era in a small part of Gloucestershire

This is from ian and Sheila walker we had lovely Christmas drinks with you it was always a great beginning to our Christmas.ian especially loved your company when you had shoots and remembered your quote enjoy life ,but when one reaches 80 it becomes more difficult. I enjoyed meeting and talking with you at the shoots , remember when you showed me your Christmas cards from the royal family. You were much admired and loved. A marvellous lady never be forgotten.
