My dear Jane,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the constancy of your friendship, even though for some considerable time we lived a long way apart, I remember the late night (for me this end) telephone conversations we used to have and the keeping up of news from the House of Fraser which you so loved and served. Thank you also for the wonderful lunch at Singleton that you gave us. It was as if we were meeting again after a few days not years, as was the case. May you Rest In Peace dear friend with a Saviour that I know you loved and served. I have only recently discovered your passing, so am still heartbroken . Until we meet again dear friend, Au Revoir.

I will so miss our lunches and your marvellous memories of life in the Store, which you so loved. Your work for Talking Books of which you played such a large part will shed a tear on their tapes. Rest in Peace dear Jane. Susan Reynolds.
