Jane Rose Young

I just received the very sad news this evening. I must say I am still in shock.

I worked with Jane at the Schlage Lock Company for many years back in the 1990s until I moved out of the Bay Area. We stayed in contact over the years getting together for a lovely lunch in the City every now and then with another very dear coworker; but sadly we lost touch in recent years.

Hearing today that she passed away back in 2022 was literally heartbreaking. I am saddened that my dear friend is gone but it is only for moment because I know I will see her again in Heaven. Until then, I will cherish the memories of her cheerful personality, her beautiful smile and her infectious laughter.

God bless you, Jane, and may you rest in eternal peace in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

It is still hard to believe you are gone. I think of you all the time.

To the Families of Jane Young,
I knew her and her family from childhood, and I have such wonderful and funny and fond memories, for which I hold dear and close to my heart. When we moved to San Bruno and realized that she lived here too, we reconnected and created more great wonderful memories. It is still hard to process her passing but, I know that she is in a better place and she is looking over all of us and praying for us all, so even though she has gone from this earth, it is all those beautiful and fond memories that will keep her alive in our hearts forever.

The challenge of the storm did not stop folks from attending Jane's final send-off to her heavenly destination. The evidence of a full room overflowing into the hallway is a reflection of the positivity and love she impressed upon us, with a hint of peace in the atmosphere - that seems to be the essence of her spirit in a nutshell. I can still hear her laughter, accented with the wonderful scratchy squeaks that made you laugh even more! As lovely as she is naturally, I have to say that Jane looked even more beautiful today. I'm grateful to have known her.

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Jane. She was a lovely lady. My deepest condolences to the family at this time.

So shocked and sorry to read the obituaries and see that Jane passed. I never knew you were sick. Maybe it is for the best. You went quick. I will miss you terribly. Your friendship was one of the best things in my life.

So very sorry to hear of Jane's passing. I was shocked and saddened to hear this as she and I spoke quite often re her pavers etc. of all the work she was having done. In fact she recommended the person who did her work to me.
Just am so sorry for her family.

So sorry to here of Jane passing. I have so many great memories growing up with Jane what great times we had. What a Beautiful person she was always had a Big smile. Gone but never forgotten. R.I.P.
