Janelle Jameson Vaughn

Have not seen Janelle since high school, and TU when we were both in Chi Omega. She was so sweet, smart and active in so many organizations. A lovely person, may she rest in peace in the loving arms of our Lord.

Although she probably didn't know, I had a crush on Janelle way back in the 8th grade. We who were fortunate to know her will certainly miss her.

Janelle and I shared a locker in the 7th grade at Wilson. In the 8th and 9th, I went to Cleveland and then we renewed our friendship at Rogers. She had been coming into our store, Gatherings in OKC, for a number of years and as soon as she retired in May, we had planned to do a lot of girl things...lunch, shopping, etc. I was so looking forward to being with her. She was so special in my life and I will miss her.

Janelle will always hold a special place in my memory as a smiling, gracious person to a new, insecure kid at W.R. High School. Her sweet kindness is a loss to all who knew ner. I'm so thankful I had the opportunity to have a nice visit with her at our 50th WR Reunion. My heartfelt prayers go out to her family.

We will miss Cousin Janelle. She was such a good friend since the age of 6. I enjoyed visiting her in Tulsa during high school days and college. Our cousin reunions brought us many happy hours together. She had a wonderful sunny disposition and I always admired her brilliant mind. To Norm and her sons, your loved one was loved by all of us. My friendship with Janelle goes back to our days at Wilson Jr. High. What a delightful person Janelle was with a wonderful personality. Our good times together continued at Will on the Hill. My sympathy to all the Vaughn family. She is my Chi Omega sister and until we meet in the Omega Chapter. Peace.

Janelle was such a special person and I always enjoyed seeing her at the reunions. We never know what wlll happen in life . Such a classy lady, my sympathies to her family......WRHS '54

I first met Janelle in Kindergarten and, since we lost track after high school, it was a special treat to talk with her at the 50th HS reunion. She was a totally delightful little girl who became a wonderful woman. Her passing creates a void that can never be filled. Sue and I extend our sympathy and prayers to her family.

I have had the privilege of knowing Janelle since junior high school. She was one of the cutest and sweetest "little" friend in our class. We had a wonderful visit at WRHS's 50th Reunion - shared many memories and giggles. My prayers are with you all, as I know she will be greatly missed. Just remember, Heaven is not that far away. We will be reunited in time. God's grace is with you.

Janelle has been in my heart since before grade school. She still called me Shirley Jo. She will remain in my heart until we meet again.

I attended Will Rogers with Janelle, and we were both in the same Chi Omega pledge class at T.U. Janelle was always so spunky, sweet and very very smart. She and I had a great vist during the WRHS 50th reunion in 2004. She was having a wonderful time exchanging memories with her classsmates. My condolences to her husband and loving family, and I pray that God will grant you peace and grace during this difficult time.

We were so very sorry to hear the news. We did not know about it until yesterday...She was a very special friend to those of us in her WRHS Class of 1954...Our memories of her will remain with us always. We do not walk alone through sorrow...God is by your side. We pray you will gather courage and peace from His love for each of you. Janelle will be missed by her Will Rogers class mates. We loved her so very much. She was special to us.
