I was not a close friend of Janet's, but what I saw in her I liked very much. She was gracious and from the old school. Janet will be missed.

Please know that you and your family are in my prayers. Like so many of her fans in Houston, I am saddened by your Mom's unexpected departure from our midst. She brought such joy and laughter to our lives, one can't help but smile in remembering her presence. I will be forever grateful for having the opportunity to know her.
