Dear Karen and Corky,
As I went to Immanuel Church this morning after years of being away I did so with a heavy heart as I went to prepare for my mothers funeral. I had asked for an example of a program others had used for services and to my shock and sad dismay I was handed the memorial service program for Jan. I am so sorry. She was such a joy and loving funfilled travel companion. Words cannot express my sorrow. Please no my thoughts are with you.

Dear Family of Janet,
My heart is full of sorrow on the news of Janet but my mind is full of wonderful memories that I have of both she and Barb. It was my privilege to serve as their Pastor and friend while at Northridge UMC. They will surly be missed but fondly remember for years to come.
My wife, Brenda and I send our prayers and thoughts to both families.
God Bless,
Pastor Sanford D. Short

To the Case family,
I have only fond memories of Janet and her love of life and family and God. She touched so many people with her smile and gentle ways. I am proud to say Janet was a friend from the first day I met her. We will miss Janet, but will keep her in our heart forever. God bless.

Janet was my Aunt. I will always remember her for her kindness. She had such an ability to warm all those around her. No matter how much time had gone by between us seeing each other she would just reach out and hug me. Her smile, her kindness, her warm soul will never faulter in my memories. A long time ago Janet gave me a gift. It looked so big and expensive that I could not believe I was being entrusted with such a treasure. At the time I just saw it as a book full of colorful pages and rich stories. I wasn't until much later that I realized it true value. It was a Children's Bible that I still treasure to this day. It is with regret that I can not be there today to show my repects and it is unfortunate I missed seeing her at Uncle Bob's picnic that Aunt Dot had at her home. I Thank you Janet for that Bible and I thank you God for the gift I treasure even more ... knowing Janet. Janet your warmth will be missed...Janet thank you for so long ago believing in this little girl.

I loved Janet - she was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. We didnt get to see each other much, but when we did, we always had a lot to talk about. When I was in elementary school, Janet lived in Massachussetts and we wrote back and forth to each other. One time she sent me her rock collection - it was huge and I knew a lot of work went into it. I felt so privileged that she would give that to me. Forty years later, it still sits on a shelf in my garage - it's one of the few things that I always know where it is. I used it as a science project and my two daughters and one step daughter used it as well. I will always remember how happy she was. My sympathies go to both families, as these two will surely be missed.
They are in His care and loving embrace.

Dear Case Family,
Janet was a member of the class of 1960 at Jackson Center and she was a sweet and loveable girl. She was one of my room-mates on our class trip to Washington D.C. and New York, N.Y. We shall miss her at our
50th class reunion next year.
This is a tragic loss for your family. I have also lost three brothers to "unforseen circumstances" so I understand your grief.
Our deepest sympathy. The Taylor famiy; Marcia, Donna Jane, Grace and Don
