Janet and her mother, father, brothers and sisters (the Clinedinst´s) lived "down the road" from my family (the Curtis Mitchell´s) we grew up together and went to the Bethel Historical Church. At time it was the gathering place for community´ activities. I have wonderful memories of Janet and her siblings, all of us living and playing in simpler times. I will always remember the Potluck Suppers- our Moms were great cooks! My condolences go to her entire family.

In memory of Aunt Janet and Carol, I planted 10 trees thru the Arbor Day foundation and requested that they all be planted together. Love you, Aunt Janet!

Spent alot of time with Janet, Carol, Nancy, & Gail, and the Clinedinst Family. I met the Clinedinst Family at Bethel Church, and we became good friends.Bethel church was our meeting place, and we were members of the MYF, Methodist Youth Fellowship, we had meetings , we had get-togethers, cake walks, ice cream socials, dances in the fellowship hall. In the 50's the church was the hub for most of our social life. Janet and I were in Elementary school together, and also into high school. I spent alot of time at the Clinedinst home, We had 4-H club meetings at their home when they lived in the Glasscock house on the hill, not far from Bethel Church. Janet was a very dear friend, but she got married, then I got married, and we lost touch of each other, but I will always remember our fun times. I am sorry she has passed. My prayers to all.
