Janet Gaffney Obituary
Janet was admired for her kind and positive demeanor, always approaching life and her loved ones with a loving, happy, and bubbly spirit. Her creativity shone through in her crafting, a hobby that brought joy not only to her but also to those fortunate enough to receive her handmade treasures.
Janet was predeceased by her loving husband James and her older brother Richard Ciuffreda. Janet is survived by her older brother Ron Ciuffreda (Judy), cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephew, and great niece.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 23rd, 2024, at the Dolphin Head Rec. Center in Hilton Head Plantation. The Ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM to honor Janet's remarkable life. Her legacy of warmth, laughter, and kindness will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.

Janet had the sweetest soul. She was my neighbor across the street for many years in Patchogue. Fourth of July has never been the same since. So many wonderful memories of fun times. Janet was definitely the hostess with the mostest! I will miss my friend terribly and am so sad that I wasn´t able to get down to Hilton Head for her celebration of life yesterday. My deepest sympathy to all her family and friends. I take comfort in knowing she had a joyous reunion with her beloved James in heaven. I love you Janet.
