Janet M Grillo, 66, of Edison passed away Saturday June 4, 2016 at her residence in Edison.
Born in New Brunswick, Janet was a teacher in the Highland Park school system for 33 years before retiring. She was an avid traveler.
Janet was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Evelyn Pagano. She is survived by her husband, Vincenzo Grillo; a son, Vincent M Grillo, daughter, Angela Marques and her husband Antonio; sister, Judith McCloskey; along with 2 grandchildren, Isabella and Tony and her longtime friend Sharon Lynch.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday June 7, 2016 from 5-9 PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. Funeral Services will be 9:30am on Wednesday at the Funeral Home followed by a 10 am mass at ST Paul the Apostle RC Church in Highland Park. Entombment will follow at St Pater's Cemetery in New Brunswick.

I was saddened to hear of Janet's passing. She was a compassionate, loving and generous lady who reached out to everyone. I knew her for only a short period of time however she made a lasting memory in my heart we will miss you.

Aunty Janet was an angel on Earth. We will always miss seeing her on Aruba during her yearly visits but will fondly be remembered in our memories forever. She will have a very special place in Heaven.

I remember Janet growing up on So. 8th Ave. in Highland Park. She was always such a kind, gentle person. I pray for God's comfort for her family at this sorrowful time & offer my deepest sympathies.
