Dearest Northwind,
It has taken so long to get here, as I could not believe you left without me. I wrote your name in the sand and my tears and the tide washed it away. With fire I wrote your name in the sky, and the wind blew it away. So I have written your name on my heart, and there you will stay ....
Your beloved Southwind, your Sister Wind.

Dear Sevilla
Thank you so much for informing me, I am sorry that I did not have a chance to go to Alaska to see Jan before. Bless her soul. And bless you and your familily.
Jan & Bruce ment a lot to me, I was attending their friday night study group, The metafysiscal church and the coptic of america in 78/79 when I was based in Alaska. They visited me in denmark, after their Egypt trip. I Lost contact for a while, but when e-mail came on the the danish marked, I got jan's adr. from my cousin Francis in Anzas, she was also on her mailing list. Small world.
After I left SAS in 81 I could not afford to travel any more..
Even the distance, we were connected.
Blessings

There are so many good memories. Jan was one of my favorite mentors. I remember sitting on the piano stool with her while she was playing for the Metaphysical Church back in the 80's. Later I joined one of her classes which changed my life. I remember her and Bruce as a couple and what a magnet they were. I am very glad that we have to never say good-bye, but rather, "I'll be seeing you."

Janet and I were friends in High School even though she was a lot smarter than I was! We were both involved in all the play productions and Kohlmeier's speech class. I want to extend my deepest sympathies to her family.

Thank-you so very much for including me in your list. Jan was very instrumental in my life. I was involved in the group who met in your home while Bruce was still here. I spoke to her on the phone and we have traded e-mails over the years. She was an amazing beautiful woman who was an unselfish and giving person. She and Bruce were so gracious to open their home to folks. We were always in for a treat when we spent time at their home. I have fond memories of Teddy Re Re Nevin, and many others I grew to love. I know we are always connected, I believe there is no separation. If anyone would like to connect with me, my 503-367-9988 I would love to hear from my spiritual family. Love and hugs, Blessings to you Seville, you are wonderful to do this for your mom. I don't know if you remember me but I remember you. Hugs, and love to all who read this. Rita Fay

The best thing about the internet is finding friends like your mom, Jan. I've known her for a decade or more and as such, know you her children. She was an amazing woman and I am very fortunate to have known her. Through the technology of video cam's and Skype I finally got to see her and talk to her "in person". She will be waiting for us. In the meantime, we're lucky to have her in our corner. May you work through your sorrow in order to remember the love and laughter of better days. Thank you for allowing me this farewell. xxxooo

Dear Loved ones of Janet
I played Chief Sitting Bull in the same play Janet starred. She was a tremendous actress at that level and I'm sure continued her stardom in life after High School. God now has one more sweet voice to add to his heavanly kingdom. She will be sorely missed here on this earth. My condolences to her family. Ken Chisholm

I just learned that my cousin Janet Ingersol who lived in Anchorage has passed away. She was 73. My brother, David and I visited her a couple of years ago.
My father, Albert came from a family of 7 siblings. His oldest brother, Roy (also known as LR) operated sawmills and employed several of his brothers including my Dad and Wilson. Roy sent Wilson up to Alaska to check out the possibilities of logging up there. It was determined the shipping costs would be too expensive. Wilson decided to stay in Alaska and became employed by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration - US government). Wilson's wife was Sevilla Hutton and they had 2 daughters: Janet and Deanna. One of Janet's children is also named Sevilla who lives in Alaska. Deanna also lives in Alaska
Dave and I will miss Janet.

My lasting memories of you, Janet are of course from High School, remembering you as a very talented person and particularly as Annie Oakley. I had the fortunate opportunity of working with you in that production, and the pictures of which you recently sent me allowed me to relive those magical moments. You gifted me with letting me know how important I was to you and to life in general. I thank you for that.

To Jan's family,
We (Al and I) met Jan through cyber space. From the very start, many years ago, I thought to myself, what a beautiful and smart woman she is.
She was so caring and thoughtful and always sent the "best" e-mails! Beautiful and funny and some very educational.
I dearly miss her and wish I could have been there in person to meet and say our good-by's.
I never realized how sever her problems where as she was not one to complain. Always gave helpful advice...medical that is, so sweet. ;)
May God watch over her family and friends and heal their hearts.
With love in God's name, Al and Jan

To the family of Janet Ingersoll,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. Reading about your relative's career choice of deciding to become a nurse, it's evident that she truly cared for others. She will be remembered. I am always encouraged by the hope that the bible gives in Isaiah 26:19: "Your dead loved ones will live...They will rise up." You have the hope of seeing her again in the future.
